We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Here we explain what we collect, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

What we process
Account data (name, email, password as a secure hash, language), order and delivery data (address, items, payment status), messages in the marketplace chat, reviews, problem reports and technical data needed to run the site (IP address in server logs for up to 14 days).
Why and on what legal basis
To provide your account and process orders (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal duties such as keeping invoices (Art. 6(1)(c)), and to keep the platform secure and prevent fraud — for example by checking chat messages for contact details (Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a safe marketplace).
Who receives data
The maker you buy from receives your name and delivery address to send the order — never your email address or phone number. Payment providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) receive the data needed for payment. Our server is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Deutschland. Texts may be machine-translated; only the text is sent, without your name.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed: to keep you logged in, remember your language and a referral code you followed. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep data
Account data as long as your account exists. Order and invoice records for the period required by tax law (up to 10 years). Chat messages for 2 years after the last message, unless needed for a problem report.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and object to processing. You can close your account yourself under My account. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Write to no-reply@uniqisanstore.com.
